Are your gemstones ethically sourced?

Yes. At Serene Western, we’re committed to ethical sourcing and full transparency—from the mine to your jewelry box.

Most of our suppliers are certified by the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC), the leading global standard for ethical practices in the jewelry industry. We are also actively working with our remaining partners to help them reach this standard.

Sourcing authentic gemstones responsibly isn’t easy—but we believe it’s our duty. We choose fairness, transparency, and craftsmanship—without the conflict.

Do you use recycled metals in your jewelry?

Yes, we do. At Serene Western, we’re committed to minimizing our environmental impact by reusing Earth’s resources whenever possible.

Whether it’s sterling silver or gold vermeil, we strive to incorporate recycled metals into every piece we create—without compromising quality or beauty.

Do you ship in recyclable packaging?

Yes. At Serene Western, we’re working toward using 100% compostable cardboard for all shipping boxes—so they can be fully recyclable.

How do you give back?

That’s why we launched our ongoing initiative, Plant The Future. For every piece you purchase, we donate to the nonprofit Trees for the Future (TREES)—supporting global reforestation and helping restore ecosystems where they’re needed most.
